The Terms of Use below explain the agreement you make when registering as a user of ride.net.nz.

Selling

If you place forsale listings on ride.net.nz you agree that:

• Your description is accurate and complete, and includes all relevant information about the item and your terms of sale
• Your item description is not misleading or fraudulent
• You will offer items for sale in the appropriate categories
• You will not offer more than one item for sale in each listing
• The price will be stated in New Zealand dollars and include GST if applicable
• You are legally entitled to sell the item you are offering for sale
• You will state in a listing if an item is not in your direct possession, and provide an estimated delivery time to New Zealand

Commenting on listings

When commenting on a listing you agree that you will not make comments that:

• violate any New Zealand law
• contain another member's contact information
• contain insults, profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, disruptive, or hostile comments, or threats of violence
• are meaningless and intended only to interfere with the usefulness of the comments feature

Fees

ride.net.nz charges fees for 'Extra' listings. 'Extra' listings are those which are published concurrently, excluding the first listing (the first listing is provided free of charge).
A listing is 'published' when it is made available to view, and appear in the search results.

• Fees are deducted from your ride.net.nz account.
• The fee for each Extra listing is 10 cents per day, this is implemented by deducting 2 cents at five intervals during the day.
• Fees are only refundable if ride.net.nz accepts that a refund is appropriate in the circumstances.
• Refunds will be credited to your ride.net.nz account.
• Extra listings will be hidden from the search results and details view pages if your ride.net.nz account becomes empty.
• In the event that the website is unavailable for a period of time, any scheduled fee deductions will also be cancelled during that time period.
• All fees paid include GST and are in New Zealand dollars.

Accounts

• Each individual or business may have only one membership of ride.net.nz.
• ride.net.nz accounts may not be used to pay for items purchased using the ride.net.nz web site.
• If your membership is terminated by ride.net.nz, or you choose to terminate your membership, ride.net.nz will refund the balance of your credit account less a $5 processing fee to a nominated New Zealand bank account. Account balances of $10 or less will not be refunded.

Miscellaneous

• ride.net.nz provides the ride.net.nz web site and services so that you can buy and sell items with other members of ride.net.nz. ride.net.nz is not a party to these transactions, and will not become involved in resolving disputes between members about transactions.
• ride.net.nz is not liable to you or any other person for anything in connection with any aspect of the ride.net.nz web site or your use of it. In particular, ride.net.nz is not liable to you or any other person on any basis for any loss or damage caused to you directly or indirectly by use of the ride.net.nz web site.
• ride.net.nz has no knowledge and makes no representations or warranties about any aspect of any item, listing or member of ride.net.nz.
• You use ride.net.nz services and the ride.net.nz web site entirely at your risk. ride.net.nz takes no responsibility for any system unavailability, or for any loss or damage that is incurred as a result of the ride.net.nz web site or services being unavailable. Further, ride.net.nz assumes no responsibility for the corruption of any data or information held by ride.net.nz.
• It is the intention of ride.net.nz to provide a high quality website which is accessible and functioning at all times. However, it accepts no responsibility or liability to any party for any failure of the website resulting in partial or total unavailability for any period of time.
• ride.net.nz provides no warranty or guarantee for the accuracy of information provided by ride.net.nz.
• Sellers on ride.net.nz are solely responsible for the content of their listings.
• ride.net.nz is not recommending or endorsing products or services by permitting them to be offered for sale on ride.net.nz.
• A failure by ride.net.nz to exercise a right under these Terms of Use does not amount to a waiver of the right.
• You agree that you will not copy, reproduce, alter, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any content from the ride.net.nz web site without prior written permission.
• You must be at least 18 years old and you must be otherwise free to enter into a legally binding contract. In particular, by becoming a member of ride.net.nz, you warrant that you are not restricted from entering into a contract in any way contemplated in the Minors Contracts Act 1969 or in any other respect.
• ride.net.nz can change these Terms of Use at any time, without giving you prior notice and it is your responsibility to make sure that you are familiar with the up to date Terms of Use.
• These terms and conditions and other policies posted on the site consitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede any previous agreements.

If you do not comply with these Terms of Agreement ride.net.nz may, without notice or warning, limit your activities on the ride.net.nz web site by removing your listings or comments, issuing you a warning or suspending or terminating your membership.
